My name is Patrice Herrera, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, emergency, and trauma nurse. I have spent over 20 years working with, and learning from, extraordinarily talented and wise mentors who fueled my passion for helping people in physical and mental health crises. I began as a paramedic and worked my way through a BSN and MSN. I have worked extensively (and primarily) with active-duty military, veterans, EMS, fire, and police, along with other Emergency Medical Professionals (physicians, nurses, PAs, NPs). As front-line workers, you deserve a mental health professional who understands the unique challenges and demands of your profession. We know those in professional service do not get a 9-5 work day, which is why we offer hours outside of normal business hours, including on Sundays. With the added convenience of telehealth appointments you do not have to rush from place to place, allowing you to choose what is comfortable for you.
